I have a vision that we could all rise up in the united belief that everyone deserves the best, that everyone deserves to fufill their true potential. I believe we can make this possible by focusing on ourselves as individuals first. I would hope that in finding what we truly want we would indeed want the best for ourselves and others. By doing this we empower ourselves. We put oursevles in a position where we are actually able to give and receive. It is the difference between feeling empowered rather than powerless.
I think we can underestimate the difference we can make as individuals. Our impact is not always fully visible to us but because in essence we are all connected, our actions always impact the greater whole. Therefore by helping ourselves we do help others; by helping others we do help ourselves. I think it is important to realize that everyone does need help. We can never take responsibility for peoples' lives but we can be the helpers that give each other the gifts that we are able to give. By allowing ourselves to fulfill our ultimate potential, we can help others do the same. It helps to realize that we are in this together.
It is my dream that people would be able to awaken to the amazing power within them and choose to use this in a transformational way. I believe that global change starts on a small scale where every person has the poteintial to make a difference. By taking responsibility for our own lives we are more aware of the consequences of our actions and choices. We can then fully understand about our individual and united power.
